Professional burnout
Professional burnout
The term “burnout” is a relatively new term, first coined in 1974 by Herbert Freudenberger, in his book, Burnout: The High Cost of High Achievement. He originally defined burnout as, “the extinction of motivation or incentive, especially where one's devotion to a cause or relationship fails to produce the desired results.”More simply put, if you feel exhausted, start to hate your job, and begin to feel less capable at work, you are showing signs of burnout. It is a time for a new professional journey.
Low self-esteem
Low self-esteem
Self-esteem is about more than just generally liking yourself—it also means believing you deserve love and valuing your own thoughts, feelings, opinions, interests, and goals. Many people suffer from a lack of confidence. They are highly educated and talented, but at some point in their lives, they allowed negative feedback or situations to undermine their self-esteem and that has continued to affect their performance and success every day. Maybe you are in the wrong spot? Adding a couple of certificates to your resume can boost confidence but we know more tricks.
